The Architect
Juan Sabbagh Pisano – along with his team of experienced and innovative architects, and the designers of the renowned studio Sabbagh Arquitectos, is creating the emblematic architecture and design of the future hotel.
The office recently finished a luxury hotel in Antofagasta and created several of the most sensational interior designs for restaurants, hotels and public buildings in Chile.
His works include the school of journalism of the University of Chile, the Chile Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, and other buildings of a commercial nature, such as the Copec Pronto service stations, and buildings of the Correos de Chile, Sony Chile, as well as several sites and the headquarter of the university Duoc UC.
In addition to the Chilean National Prize for Architecture in 2002, he has received awards such as Fermin Vivaceta Prize 2001, granted by the College of architects of Chile, the career award from the Latin American Iron and Steel Institute, and, more recently, the World Prize for the most outstanding office building at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona in 2008.
